Teaching

I teach Biology 1006 and Biology 1017 (Applications in Biology Parts I & II) in the Department of Biology at the University of New Brunswick - Fredericton.

As an Assistant Teaching Professor I am responsible for:  supervising and training teaching assistants (TAs), developing new and creative labs, writing lab manuals, and formulating all lab assessments such as term projects and exams.  I work closely with undergraduate students to train them in practical skill development in the lab.

I am also an instructor at the Bamfield Marine Sciences Centre.  See 'Fun Photos' for some great shots of my 'Biodiversity of Seaweeds' students!
